It's almost time!

You're receiving this email because you had the vision to sign up for the 2012 BBQ Crash Course during your SXSW registration.

This email is your reminder to come over to Brush Square Park (right across the street from the Convention Center) for lunch on March 9th, 11am-2pm. Bring your photo ID and a serious hunger. We can't wait to see you! (But don't bring your friends, we're sold out. Sorry, but tickets are non-transferable at this point.)

Some special new treats this year:

  • This year we're honored and awed to be able to bring you acclaimed Austin singer/songwriter Beaver Nelson and his band to rock the stage and set the scene.
  • The crew from Foodspotting will be there and have a celebrity foodie guest taking the stage around 1pm.
  • Rose Dental has become an official toothpick sponsor!
  • Gloria Corral, author of Barbecue Lovers Guide to Austin, will be onhand signing books.

The 2012 pitmaster crew is represented below, and it's an all star cast of the best of the best of Central Texas BBQ. Do your research and come ready to ask the pitmasters anything and everything about their trade. You're gonna love their goods.

We'll have unique, craft beers from Saint Arnold and Real Ale Brewing and sweets from Cutie Pies and At Home on the Range. We can't wait to see you there!
